Newsletter #2 - May 18, 2020

Hello Neighbors!

 

We hope that all of you are doing well and staying healthy.

 

LS Mutual Aid has been up and running for just over 2 months now! We are overwhelmed with the number of responses and amount of outreach and feedback that we have received; thank you all. We hope that our network has been able to help each of you in some way. A reminder that: Mutual aid is a powerful way to build strong connections. We all have something to offer and we all have something we need. It is our hope that this Mutual Aid group encourages community connection and outreach (from a safe distance, of course).

 

Our most important update this week is that LS Mutual Aid now has a website! Our website includes an expansive list of resources as well as our contact information, values and much more. The goal of our site is to be easily accessible and informative. With that said, if you know of any resources in Lincoln or Sudbury that we have not included, please reach out and let us know. We are here to learn from you!

Other Updates:

  • Our network has reallocated over $3500. Thank you to everyone who has donated. 

  • At this time, we are receiving more requests than we can fill due to limited donations. If you are able to donate, please consider venmoing @LSMutualAid. Your donation will go directly towards an EGift card for someone who has reached out in need of financial support. Any amount is appreciated.

  • We recognize that our current forms of communication and outreach (social media, email) may not be accessible to everyone in the community. For this reason, we are looking to expand our marketing team. If you have time and would like to help us with marketing, please reach out!

 

A reminder that our Facebook Page and Instagram (@lincolnsudburymutualaid) are also great places for information and updates.
